Downloading music has begun one of the most sought out reasons for exploring the Internet! Slow modem or extremely fast broadband connection, anyone can download a 3 megabyte song. With the advent of increasing technology, you can enjoy music on the go with such devices as: iPod, Smartphone, PSP and others.

Walmart.com provides users with the option of downloading music in mp3 or WMA format, which is compatible with iTunes. You choose between a song and a collection of albums to download. They do offer you a free newsletter for information on music news and sales.

There had recently been a battle between musicians and recording companies with several websites that were offering music downloads illegally. However, since then there has been a dramatic decrease of music piracy. If you still think getting music downloads illegally is still the best way to go there are a few things you need to consider. When you get music downloads you are also most definitely downloading viruses, malicious code and spyware onto your computer. In addition, if that happens there goes your music player.

The Internet police are still looking out for rouge music downloading. Have you heard of the 12 year old kid that was sought after and sued by music industry giants for downloading and selling copyright music? No one is immune to the law, so beware of rogue sites. There is also a moral issue here. Downloading music without paying for it is stealing from the music artists who work so hard to create quality songs for their fans.

Downloading music legally is both secure and free of viruses and spyware. While the artists receive their hard earn cut of the money also. Everybody wins with legal music downloads.

The era of music stores is coming to an end. Very few people are willing to travel to store and dig through hundreds of CDs to locate their most desired song. It is far too simple to join a music service and download unlimited music in just minutes and save on gas. Most sites allow you to listen to the entire song before you decide to buy it. This way you only download the songs that move you the most, not an entire CD where you only enjoy just a few of the songs.

The largest advantage online music services have over your traditional music store locations is that there are no constraints with music downloading. You can download a song any time you like and as much as you desire. You also receive much more options in terms of music selection. There are also sites that specialize in certain genres like: yoga, Christian, country, meditation and Hip Hop.

There is a plethora of payment plans, but they all fall into one or two of the three main categories. Many will ask for a one-time only fee for unlimited free music downloads for a lifetime. Other music services will charge a monthly subscription planh and/or a pay per download and copy.

When you get music downloads you can burn CD’s and create your own special mix of your favorite songs to create CD’s for that special someone, music to work out with or for a special holiday or anniversary.

Understanding Latin Girls, Is It Possible?

Since the beginning of history men are trying to understand women, and today they are still working on it. Men still see women as enigmatic creatures and think that is hard to understand and know what do they really want, need and desire. Here are the most common words and gestures used by Latin girls:

Good
This is the word that Latin girls use to finish a discussion, where they think they have the truth and you have to shut up.
Never use “Good” for describing how she looks, that will be a reason for one of those discussions.

Five minutes
This means half an hour. It’s equivalent to those five minutes that the ball game remains, when you have to change the light bulb, so you’re even.

Nothing
This means “something” and better start getting ready for the worst. “Nothing” is often used for describing her mood when she wants to throw you up and down. “Nothing” means, generally, a discussion that is going to last “Five minutes” and is going to finish with “Good”.

Go Ahead (with bent eyebrows)
It’s a warning. It’s going to finish with a woman bothering by “Nothing” and ending with the word “Good”

Go Ahead (normal eyebrows)
This means: “I surrender” or “You can do what you want because it does not matter to me”. You are going to receive an ” Go Ahead with bent eyebrows” in a few minutes, followed by a “Nothing” and a “Good” and she’s going to talk you back in “Five Minutes” when the devil gets out from her.

Audible sigh
This is not properly a word but a non verbal asseveration, generally badly understood by men. An “Audible Sigh” means that she thinks that you are an idiot and she asks her self why she wastes her time discussing with you on “Nothing”.

Smooth sigh
Again, it is not a word but a no verbal asseveration. A “smooth Sigh” means that she is satisfied. Your better not move or breathe so she will continue satisfied.

It’s all right
This is one of the most dangerous declarations than a latin girl can make to a man. “It is al Right” means that she wants to think a lot before she returns what you did to her. “It’s al Right” is used frequently with “Good” and jointly with and “Bent Eyebrows”.

Go ahead
At some time in the near future you are going to be in a great problem.

Do it
It’s not an expression: it’s a offer. The Latin girl is giving you the opportunity for explaining the reasons for doing what you have done. You have a good opportunity for telling the truth, so be careful or you can receive a “It’s all Right”.

Thank you
A woman is being thankful to you. Do not fell down, simply say “You’re Welcome”

Thank you very much
This is something very different from “Thanks”. A Latin girl is going to say “Thank you very much” when she is very angry. That means that you offended her without a drop of sensitivity, and is going to be followed by a “Audible Sigh”. You must remember that you don’t have to ask what is going on after the “Audible Sigh” because the only thing that she’s going to say is “Nothing”.

You Are Never Too Old To Learn Rock’n'Roll Dancing

The short answer to that question, “Are you too old for Rock’n'Roll Dancing” is no. If you are still reasonably active there is no reason why you could not take on a new activity such as learning to dance rock and roll.

I guess in many respects I wanted to write this article to dispel a few misconceptions for those who feel that they are perhaps too old or not “talented enough” to get involved with some form of healthy activity such rock and roll dancing.

Unfortunately there are some folk who believe they are too old before their time.

Sometimes life spins that misconception around in our minds when in reality the real answer is quite the opposite. I really want to encourage those people and let them know, that you are never too old to learn something new if you are still able and willing.

I don’t claim to be a know it all but I do believe in the idea that you can do a lot more than you thought possible. For instance, I went sky diving with my sister last year and I am nearing 60. In fact I have sky dived a couple of times now and hope to do it again when the opportunity presents itself.

Now I don’t mention that to brag or tell you how supposedly brave I am. I mention it simply to support my statement that you are never too old if you are willing and able.

Sometimes you have to snap out of the daily humdrum of life and do something that invigorates you. It’s doesn’t have to be something as brash as sky diving, as sky diving can be an expensive hobby aside from it being perceived as an extreme activity.

Canoeing down a very quiet serene river can be someones ideal activity for fun and invigoration. So there are many activities that don’t require a lot of money or effort.

As for myself, well my regular activity for invigoration is Rock’n'Roll Dancing.

Apart from it being such a happy environment to be in, it’s a fantastic opportunity to express yourself freely.

It gives you an amazing sense of freedom when you are moving about to the beat of the music whilst being surrounded by the happy faces of fellow Rock’n'Roll Dancers.

So if you have ever considered getting involved with rock and roll dancing you should know that you don’t necessarily have to join a dancing school or take on any form of serious dancing instruction to have fun and express yourself. Perhaps just get some basics to begin with. Believe me, there is a lot you can learn along the way - while you are having a great time.

From my own experience I know there is nothing anybody needs to prove, nor do you need to be talented to be involved.

Rock’n'Roll dancing in my view is great social activity. So you don’t need to be the world’s greatest dancer to be social or active.

I hope that this will encourage any of you that are thinking of taking up something that you have thought about and ultimately wanted to do but have been a little unsure about how to make a start. Just have a go and concentrate on having a good time.

Marg and Bill are Rock’n'Roll enthusiasts from Adelaide Australia who enjoy teaching others to dance rock and roll.

What Type Of Music Helps You To Relax?

As mentioned before, music can release stress. Some may ask what type of music that helps in relaxation. Although there are music CD that so call can help to relax, but you don’t have to stick to music that is designed specifically as relaxation music. As mentioned, I feel comfortable and relaxing when listening to my favourite artist sings. If you feel more comfortable with pop songs then classical music, it is perfectly alright, it need not be only classical music that can help to relax as many people might think.

To many peoples, it is unlikely that heavy metal can calm one down but surprisingly there are still peoples who are responded positively to heavy metal. Conversely, the relaxation music you use should be composed in a way that makes it easy to listen to and moderately upbeat. It shouldn’t just be background music; it should also catch your attention and the focus of your mind.

There is no specific requirement for a location to enjoy relaxing music. However, you will feel more comfortable physiologically if you are at your own premises, in a darkened room, with some aroma from the burning of therapy oil. Make sure the music volume is not too loud; the sound level should be just nice to overwhelm the external noise. In this respect, a headphone can be very useful. Most importantly, you have to feel comfortable.

But one must bear in mind that relaxation is not something that comes naturally to many of us. Pressure in life means that we are robotically finish our office work and go home, then start to worry about tomorrow. This causes anxiety and hence lack of sleep in many cases. These are unlikely to be cured by occasionally listening to just a few minutes of music. Relaxation music has the greatest effect when you listen to it for at least 30 minutes each session.

Cable TV - the Beginning for Internet TV

The first cable systems used to be antennas placed in a certain manner with extra long cables connecting them to viewer’s TV sets. At regular levels, amplifiers had to be inserted to make the signal stronger as they tended to become weak after being transmitted through the length of the cable wires. Problems with these amplifiers caused issues for people to designed cable systems for years. Noise and distortion were caused by the amplifier.

If one of the amplifiers failed to work, the picture was lost. By the seventies, the amplifier problems were finally solved and programming was taking greater leaps. Millions of homes now have cable systems attached to get television directly into their living rooms. TV viewing has become a very taken for granted phenomenon, and no one really thinks about how what they are watching has been brought to them. In the past, television was never pre recorded, just live. The line of sight problem to do with radio signals has existed since the day TV has been used.

If the antenna you are using is not in the same line as the more powerful antenna being used to send signals, then the picture goes. Then came satellite TV and largely solved this problem, by making orbiting satellites transmit radio signals instead of terrestrial antenna. Today a lot more people prefer satellite TV over cable TV. However, getting back to how cable TV works, even when satellite TV was not there people had figured out ways to avoid the line of sight problems, though it never really went fully as far as cable TV is concerned. By putting up powerful antennas in high spots, people made sure that more viewers got the signals.

Cables were connected to viewers’ homes which would then bring cable TV into their TV sets. No doubt, we have taken TV for granted. This is an argument that may be made for all forms of technology. We have also taken the internet for granted. Having a high speed connection in today’s world is no big deal – nothing to make a fuss about. As satellite TV slowly replaced cable TV, Internet TV is gradually taking satellite TV’s place. We still watch as much TV as we used to before, but we’re discovering more and more efficient ways to watch it. Now we can watch TV on regular TV sets without cable or satellite televisions, and we can watch TV on portable media players like our mobile phones.

All this has been made possible due to Internet TV – the amazing amount of content, the music, the movies, the live shows, the sports, the news – Internet TV has made all that possible for us. We are no longer slaves to what ever is on in our regular TVs. We can tune in to whatever we want to watch, any time, on Internet TV. Such is the amazing power of technology and this is how we make giant leaps every time. Internet TV is the next big thing in media, just like cable TV had been in people’s lives, those many decades ago.

Twelve On-Line Sit ‘n’ Go Poker Tells

In live poker play, it is necessary to learn the meaning of an opponent’s physical tells. The tell might be a facial expression, or a hand or body movement. Or, any of several body language or vocal clues. Often enough, the clues add up to a good read of your opponent’s poker hand. In on-line play, physical tells do not exist. But, there are still plenty of clues. As with all tells, these clues can mean something important, or mean absolutely nothing. Or, be a big fat fake.

Tricky players, both live and on-line, will attempt to manipulate tells to mislead and confuse. They will often act in a manner that suggests one holding, while actually holding an entirely different hand. Spotting fakery, usually a bluff, is a vital part of reading tells. The benefit of understanding tells is two-fold. First of course, is the obvious. Getting a read on your opponent. The second, is getting a read on yourself. If other players are unwittingly sending tells, just as likely so are you.

For our on-line purposes, we will broaden the scope of tells to include any information provided by your opponent. Even their playing style is a very important tell. However, analysis of playing styles is a separate poker strategy.

Offered below are twelve on-line Sit n Go poker tells. Most are common. But, a few are lesser known gems.

1) Pre-select button.

Use of the pre-select button results in an instant-action. An instant-action call can be a strong signal of a good hand requiring little thought. While an instant check might mean a weak hand. An instant-action can also be a deceptive move, especially when occurring on the river.

2) Time required to act.

Players are inclined to bet fast when they have a good hand, and more slowly with a weaker hand. This is a pattern that betrays the player. Smarter players are aware of this tendency. A smart player who takes a little longer than normal to act, probably holds a monster. Be careful.

3) Avatar selection.

This really is a tell. And, it can provide some good information about your opponents. You will learn that, as a class, there are some avatars that rarely make it into the money. While there are a few others that show up in the money frequently. Then there are the cross-dressers, guys that select female avatars, and vice versa. Just remember that the buxom, young, virtual lady across the table may play a heck of a lot better than you give her credit.

4) Screen-name selection.

I have found only one class of screen-name that appears to have a meaning. The in-your-face type of name seems to correlate with the more aggressive player. Watch for maniacs in this category, as well.

5) Runs out timer.

You will see this often when a limper or the big blind has been raised. Before acting, the player near runs out the timer. If the player then folds, consider this to be a tough one who does not like being pushed around. Be prepared for a future re-raise. If the player calls, consider the delay merely an act of toughness. They usually fold to the next bet. Meaning that they were acting opposite of their weak holding, hoping for a free card. If the player is tricky, the delay could be a strong hand feigning weakness. So, know your opponent.

6) Odd size bet.

A player who bets an odd amount, e.g., 999 chips rather than 1000, is only fooling himself. While he does create a much larger appearing stack, this attempt at confusion actually attracts so much attention that the action brings clarity. I attribute these ploys to novices.

7) Specific bet size.

Although similar to the odd size bet explained above, this one packs a mean psychological message. This bet is targeted at a smaller stack, and matches the stack’s chip count. Outside of chat, this is about as personal as one can get in on-line poker. The bet is clearly a challenge, dripping with intimidation. My advice is to watch the aggressor closely, and be prepared for further nasty tricks. The aggressor is clearly a bully. Wait for opportunities to beat the bully at his own game.

8) Chat.

The chat box contains tons of good information: someone is up past their bedtime, someone else is drunk, two someones are locked in a feud, and on and on. Chat is a double-edged sword. Not only does the player reveal information about themselves, but while they chat, they are distracted from the game. Stay on the look-out for frequent chatters, they are vulnerable.

9) Shows their hand.

This is such an important tell, that whenever a player voluntarily shows their cards, I utter a ‘thank you’. There is not a good enough reason to give away free, vital information to the whole table.

10) Multi-table player.

Whenever you learn that a player is multi-tabling, you have gained three tells. First, he is distracted. Second, he is likely a solid player. And third, he will likely be playing tight, straightforward poker. Overall, he will be somewhat vulnerable, because his play will be rather fixed and predictable. You can identify multi-tabling players by previewing sign-ups for a while before you register. They are often the first to register. And, you can browse other games while you play. If a player chats about his multi-tabling, usually he is a novice.

11) Wishes good luck.

This one may be the most consistently accurate tell of all. I have observed that any player who wishes good luck to everyone at the beginning of a Sit n Go rarely makes it into the money. Perhaps their social good graces neutralize the aggressive spirit demanded by a No-Limit Hold’em tournament.

12) Betting patterns.

Players have an inclination to bet smallish with a weak holding, and stronger with better cards. It is as if they were betting according to a sliding scale. Some players like to frequently attempt blind steals from the button. These, and other such betting patterns, are easy to observe. And, to exploit.

Whenever you discover a tell, be sure to record your finding in the player’s notes. Deposits into this archive are as good as money in the bank. As to your own tells, you can scrub most away simply by following certain routines. For example, always wait three seconds before clicking your mouse regardless of the strength or weakness of your hand. A standard routine like this provides no tells.

When the situation is right, you might try a little trickery by acting more quickly, or more slowly. Most players will notice this change in the pace of your play. Then, the drama begins as they try to determine their response. By the way, hesitating before you act provides another important benefit: an extra moment to analyze the situation before committing your chips.

Understanding on-line poker tells will help you to identify your opponent’s weaknesses, avoid their traps, and deprive them of information about yourself.

Watch College Football Online - Start Watching College Football Now

It’s football season and if your like me you have to work or go to school and don’t want to miss a single game of football when your team is playing. I used to miss more then half of my teams games until I started to watch college football online with a program I found while searching Google to watch football while I was at work.

I used to have to go to work and sit behind a desk on a computer 8 hours a day then take night courses at my college and this didn’t leave much time for to watch college football I even used to tape the game so I could watch it a couple days later but most the time I just watched the highlights which sucked.

If you have ever missed the big fight or the big football game and have your friends tell you the results while you were at work or studying for school you know my pain!. I now luckily have a great program that allows me to watch college football online along with several other sports and shows because this program has 3000 channels.

Beautiful Small Tattoo Designs

The reasons why people have small tattoo designs are wide and varied. Most popular small tattoo designs are used by women as they are more discreet which is more representative of their gender. Tattoo designs are of course only limited by a person’s imagination, social acceptance, pain threshold and budget.

Some of the most popular small tattoo designs are animals and insects such as butterflies, birds, cats and dolphins. These are by no means the only tattoos that are used but seem to have a universal appeal for most newcomers to the art form.

There are many designs available and can be obtained from many sources including the internet. Choosing your design and putting the time into the research before turning up at the door of the tattoo parlor is always the best option. Some people arrive at the parlor and try to decide what print they want and get into a decision dilemma which causes frustration and anxiety.

Using the internet to find your small tattoo designs is the best option as there is no pressure and the numbers of designs are extensive. A word of caution though, the choice of design needs to be of a high quality, in fact the higher the quality the better. The tattoo artist when presented with a high quality design will be more likely to produce a high quality tattoo. Turning up with a sketch or low resolution print will most likely produce the same result on the skin.

Having spent the time and effort to find the perfect small tattoo designs would also depend on where you are intending to have the tattoo inserted. The smaller the design the more places you have to put them. These days the base of the back or the nape of the neck is popular whereas in the past there was a flurry of people having tattoos printed right around the bicep. These days that design has lost favor but the tattoo still can be seen by customers who are stuck with a fad design that is now unpopular. So the moral of the story is to choose wisely and not be drawn in by trends that will disappear.

In conclusion, choose wisely, don’t follow trends, find the highest quality design possible from a reliable source that has a reputation for high quality stock, don’t turn up at the tattoo parlor without your chosen design in your hand. With keeping these things in mind for your small tattoo designs you should at least have a fighting chance of getting that quality result you will be proud of.

How To Make A Winning Press Kit

Before I start talking about what to include in a press kit, I want you to stop and think about something. I want you to put yourself into the shoes of an A&R scout or any other industry person. Just for a moment, try to imagine how many press kits these people receive. Just keep that in your mind.

Now, let’s pretend you are that A&R scout. Imagine yourself standing over your desk with stacks of press kits. You finally have 10 minutes to grab a press kit, look through it and listen to a song or two. Are you still imagining this? Ok, select a press kit. Go ahead and envision yourself doing this. Which press kit did you grab? Was it the one with the big, obnoxious writing? Or was it the one with the cool band name? Wait, was it that envelope with all those stickers on it is screaming to be opened. Which press kit do you think that A&R scout would’ve grabbed?

Always remember how many press kits these industry people receive. When you put yours together, think of ways that yours will stand out. It needs to draw attention to itself. It can stand out because of its professional appearance, its off-the-wall presentation, well organized appearance or from the envelope it came in. It’s up to you to come up with a press kit that gets chosen.

But before you get too wacky, remember that you are trying to work with the label, booking agent or manager. Be eye-catching but you also have to be professional. These people need to make you money, but they also need to make themselves money. Make sure they see personality, professionalism and marketability.

Ok, let’s go over what you need in your press kit.

1. Cover Letter – This should go out with every press kit. You should address the letter to the person you’re sending it to. It should contain no more than 2 paragraphs, explaining why you are sending the press kit. Is it to get signed, get a review, get a booking agent or get radio play? Let the person know your intent and give a few reasons why you think they would want to work with you. Again, keep it short and to the point.

Also, if you have a manger, he/she should be the one who writes the cover letter. They should date and sign the letter, as well. Make sure it contains their contact information.

The letter should be attached to the outside of your kit with a paper clip. It should be on the front of the folder that contains the items of your press kit.

2. Bio – This is one of the most important parts of your press kit. The bio (biography) needs to contain information that makes someone interested in listening to your music and interested in working with your band.

To me, the first paragraph is the most important part of the bio. It needs to intrigue the reader. It needs to capture the reader’s interest. Make them want to read more.

Make sure the person reading the bio knows what your band sounds like. I always find it helpful to include well-known bands that you sound similar too. This usually will help label the genre of music you play. There are a million genres of music out there so listing a few bands that you sound like helps the reader.

List the band members, their ages and what they do in the band. Briefly explain how the band came together. If the members were in more popular bands, list those.

Try to express the band’s uniqueness. That can be in the form of your live show, lyrical content, look, sound, online marketing or whatever else. There are a million bands that sound like this or that but what makes your band different?

Tell the reader what projects are coming up and what you’ve done in the past. Briefly talk about your bands accomplishments.

A rule of thumb that I always believed in was that you always want to make your band seem bigger than they are without lying. Most of the claims you make in your press kit can easily be looked up. If you claim you’ve sold 5,000 CDs but you have no tour history and you’ve only sold 20 CDs online (SmartPunk, InterPunk, iTunes), then something doesn’t add up. Hype up your band but make sure you have the facts to back it up.

Include quotes from industry people. That includes your manager, booking agent or producer. Incorporate the quotes with the topic of the paragraph. Don’t get carried away but a few quotes from the people that work with you will show you have contacts and that people want to work with you.

3. Photo – Always include an 8X10 photo of your band. You can use a color or black & white picture. If you are sending it to a newspaper, always include a black & white picture, just in case they want to print the picture.

Also, make sure the picture represents your band. If you are an indie rock band, you don’t want to be wearing all black. If you’re a metal band, you don’t want to be holding flowers, wearing polo shirts. This is your first (and sometimes, last) impression to make on the person looking at your press kit. First impressions mean a lot.

4. The Demo – Most sources tell you to include a demo with no more than three songs on it. Well, if you have a pressed CD, go ahead and send it. But most people reading your press kit won’t have time to listen
