Drugs Don’t Work!

That sounds like a pretty bold statement. Maybe it is. But frankly, if drugs worked there‘d be no more chronic disease like cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and so on. Sadly, chronic disease is the leading cause of death of Americans. The treatment of those diseases is reported to also be among the leading causes of death.

Maybe in one sense drugs do work in that they might provide temporary symptom relief. However, their purpose is to fool the body so that it responds inappropriately to certain conditions. By altering your body’s normal function, drugs cause problems for other systems that may not be revealed for years to come.

Everyone’s heard about Vioxx and Celebrex and the risks those prescription drugs carry, including death. In recent months the popular diabetes drug, Avandia, has been shown to also put you at risk of heart failure. Kids diagnosed with ADD/ADHD who take drugs like Ritalin and Adderol are at risk for problems ranging from stunted growth and insomnia to suicide. Anti-depressants have been implicated in numerous mass murders, including Columbine and Virginia Tech. Even common over-the-counter drugs for colds, arthritis, allergies and headache carry significant health risks.

What is this fascination we have with drugs? Granted, Mankind has been self-medicating itself since the beginning of time. However, that was on an individual basis and self-limiting. But I’m afraid our societal love affair with drugs is having (and will have) a long-term negative impact on the health of our economy, health care system and well being of our nation as a whole.

Have we evolved (or devolved) as a species to the point where we can’t tolerate any discomfort, whatsoever? If so, how can we ever survive? I’ve never seen a dog or cat complain of a headache or depression. When they’ve eaten something bad, they don’t reach for the Pepto Bismol. They simply throw up and move on. But we humans, having dominion over all the Earth, can’t survive without taking a pill to manage a headache, a fever, diarrhea, constipation, blood pressure or whatever.

By this time, you’re probably thinking I’m some sort of nut. Drugs have all been researched and approved by the government and wouldn’t be on the market if they weren’t safe. Right? Well, I would only ask that you check out the facts and compare them with what you know or what you have seen. Some of you will probably say, “I’ve been taking drugs all my life and have never had a problem”. But, a good many of you will honestly “You know, I’ve been taking drugs for so long, I can’t remember. But, he’s got a point. I’ve STILL got my problem!” And there’s a reason why you’ve still got that problem.

For the most part, drugs have only one purpose, managing your symptoms. While temporary symptom relief is not a totally bad thing, it’s never a permanent solution. Think about the addict that continually escapes from their problem by getting drunk or high only to find their problem has worsened If he’d deal with his real problem his life would take on new meaning, power and significance. So it is with you. Find the source of your problem and correct it.

OK. So what can you do to get off some of your medications? The first thing I recommend is to take some time to consider your lifestyle. Are you overweight? Do you exercise, at all? What do you eat? Got stress? After you’ve taken a serious look at some of the things you might be doing to make yourself sick, make a plan to begin to change some of those habits. Even better, think about the life you want to live and start living it. As you begin to pursue health, it will pursue you. As you clean the crap out of your system, your body will function better and you’ll feel better. Find a good wellness chiropractor, a nutritionist, a personal trainer, drink tons of water and maybe even find a family doctor who will help you get off the drugs. Live the life you want and you’ll rarely need to cover up the parts that don’t work perfectly.

Aromatherapy for Men

As we are all aware Aromatherapy is nothing new to civilization. However it is unlikely that you will find the word man and aromatherapy in the same sentence. In fact if you ask most guys what they know of Aromatherapy for men you would receive a vacant stare in return as they draw a blank in the mental index. The truth of the matter is Aromatherapy for men will benefit in today’s society. We are not living in the days of hunter gathers so the types of stress a man faces today are different compared to tribal days. Not to say that the amount of stress is not similar to hunting or being hunted. I guess it can be summed up that today’s stress is a battle of the mind. When I think of how Aromatherapy has changed my life I reflect on three major benefits that have taken place in my life. This article will address the benefits of Aromatherapy in my life and hopefully you will see the possibilities in yours.

I think it would be appropriate to start from the beginning and briefly go over what Aromatherapy actually is, in case any of you guys don’t know. Believe it or not modern Aromatherapy was actually identified in France by a man named Rene Maurice Gattefosse in the 1920’s. Mr. Gattefosse was a chemist and apparently so prone to getting burned in his lab he became somewhat of a authority on burns from his own personal experience. One day as Mr. Gattefosse lit his arm on fire in a panic he doused the flames in a vat of lavender oil. Gattefosse experienced immediate relief from the pain and additionally in the days to come the recovery process was extremely short with minimal scarring. Compared to the previous burns he had experienced he could not deny he was on to something. After the incident Gattefosse dedicated his life to the study of Aromatherapy. So guys there you go nothing to be shy about Aromatherapy for men is totally natural.

The number one benefit that I have seen happen in my life is the ability to deal with the stress in modern life. Previously to my experiments with Basil Oil my depression was at a all time high. It’s difficult to describe the properties of Basil Oil without smelling them in person. It is important to note that you should never use the exotic variety of basil it could possibly be a source of cancer. However Basil oil is amazing at giving me a second wind at the end of the day. I have more quality time with my daughter and strangely am able to let go of the stress I have had during the day. My focus is sharper so I can think clearly about positive aspects in life and bring my self to a place that is pleasant. I have also used Lemon oil but I tend to favor Basil but you should try both.

When thinking about Aromatherapy for men think about what it can do for us when we are sick. Let’s face it most men turn to kittens when a cold strikes. Believe it or not Aromatherapy can get you back to the testosterone injected beefcake you once believed yourself to be. Let me introduce you to my little friend…..Eucalyptus oil and mint. During a cold or flu this little combo delivers a knockout in clearing the nasal passages. Give it a shot the next time you a feeling sick. Also another amazing essential oil is Yarrow oil it can get rid of most cold and flu symptoms. Obviously again this is treating the symptoms and not the cause but again it should be enough to get yourself positive enough to fight back mentally.

Aromatherapy for men is also important in the area of skin burns. Lets face it guys are prone to skin burns. A nasty header burn on the leg can be a real bummer for the weekend. Skin burns are no bueno and as previously mentioned lavender oil is a great way to get some relief. You may also want to try Bergamot for cold sores combined with Eucalyptus oil provides amazing relief.

Aromatherapy for men in the future will more than likely be more commonplace than it is today. I know from personal experience that it has had a tremendous effect on my relationship at home after a stressful day. I get through sickness with less misery and if by chance when I’m out playing I should get some sort of skin damage well I’m covered there as well. Aromatherapy for men in all has many uses. Just remember it’s making your life easier if you are having trouble getting over the stereotype. You are facing some risks with aromatherapy and in turn you will need to become informed with the techniques involved in producing the results you are looking for. If you are interested I have link to my website below full of information on Aromatherapy and yes I’m a man.

The Divine Vedic Science of Healing with Light

In the Vedic scriptures all creation is said to begin from divine light emanating from the Supreme Being. In the “Kurma Purana”, chapter 3, verses 1 & 2 are describing Bhuvanakosha or the matrix of this universe,

Evamesha Mahadevo Devadevah Pitamahah
Karoti Niyatam Kalam Kalatma Hyaisvari Tanuh
Tasya Ye Rasmayo Viprah Sarvaloka pradipakah
Tesam Sresthah Punah Saptarasmayo Graha yonayah

“In this way the Great Lord, the Lord of the Lords, the universal Grandfather, always creates time, He being the Essence of time, with a body endowed with all conceivable powers”.

“The rays that compose His body are omnipresent and illume the limitless worlds in the universe. Among them seven are the best and the highest as they form the matrices of the seven planets.”

This reference to the seven colors of the rainbow, or the components of visible light, herein state that the substratum of the universe consists of these seven principal rays and are said to be chief amongst the rays forming the body of the universe and the Supreme Godhead. In stating that these rays are identical with the universe and also with the powers of God, or the qualities of omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence, it also infers that they are responsible for creation, maintenance and destruction of the universe, according to the Supreme will and the effect of time.

The connection between the five Mahabhutas and the planets is shown in Vedic astrological works, notably “Brihat Jataka” by Varaha Mihira (considered one of the great authorities on this subject) around 400 A.D. It speaks of the Sun as the condensed form of the red ray, Moon of orange, Mars of yellow, Mercury of green, Jupiter of blue, Venus of indigo and Saturn violet.

It is in the Ayurvedic texts that the process of color rays within creation is taken a step further with the mention of the “Pancha Mahabhutas”, or five great elements in the form of earth, water, fire, air and ether. It is concluded that earth is the condensed green color, water of orange and indigo, fire of red and yellow, air of violet and ether blue.

The “Pancha Tanmatras”, or five subtle substances considered in the Samkhya philosophical system, also have their origin in these seven cosmic colors. The red cosmic color is responsible for sight, green for smell, violet for touch, blue for sound, and orange for taste respectively. The yellow ray, which is warming and the indigo ray, which is cooling, regulate the body’s temperature.

Examination of the sense organs through a prism will actually show these colors to the eye if examined carefully. There will be a green glow around the tip of the nose and red will be visible in the eyes. The skin will give off an aura of violet and the tongue orange. Within the cavities of the head, the mouth and ears, blue will be detected.

The five primeval “vayus”, so important to our vital well-being make up the pranic sheath. These are known as prana, apana, samana, udana and vyana, which also have their origin in the seven colors of the rainbow. Prana vayu has a close association with the earth element and therefore the green ray. Apana vayu is connected with the water principle and therefore the cosmic colors of orange and indigo. Samana vayu is of fire and therefore composed of red and yellow. Udana vayu is of air, thus the violet color, while vyana vayu and ether find their origin in the cosmic blue ray.

Accordingly, it is a forgone conclusion that the combination of the elements or “tridosha” of ayurveda also have their origin in these seven cosmic rays of light. Vayu, air, combines air and ether, thus originating from blue and violet. Pitta, fire, is from fire and thus the colors red and yellow are its composition. Kapha dosha is a combination of earth and water, thus coming from orange, indigo and green.

Such observations obviously lend credence to these Vedic conclusions that it is due to the presence of these cosmic colors that the subtle and gross material creations can become animated and function on a physical, emotional, mental and conscious level. Our cellular structure is composed of the seven cosmic rays. To remain in a healthy condition the rays within the cells should be in state of equilibrium.

The great seers and healers of ancient Bharata-varsha made the observation that specific precious gems held within them the strongest concentration of the light rays found on the planet. There are many references in Vedic scriptures regarding the innate potency of gems when worn on the body. The texts of Garuda Purana, the Narada Purana and Agni Purana all give references to the use of gems. Although they do not give much information as to the methods of prescribing them for health or astrological reasons, they do give parameters for necessary quality of gem crystals, as well as benefits for human beings. Gemology was also an important Vedic science in ancient times given that in Vaishnava texts it is described that Krishna and Balarama also studied it in the gurukula of Sandipani Muni.

These gems are nine in total and linked to the seven planets in the jyotish (astrological) system. The two extra gems, not yet mentioned, are connected to the infra-red and ultra violet spectrum of the rainbow.

Ruby emits the same ray as the Sun - Red
Red coral the same as Mars - Yellow

Yellow sapphire as Jupiter - Blue

These are all considered to emit rays that are hot in nature.

Pearl emits the same ray as the Moon – Orange
Emerald as Mercury – Green
Diamond as Venus – Indigo
Blue Sapphire as Saturn – Violet

These are all considered to emit rays that are cooling in nature.

Hessonite garnet (also called gomed) is used for increasing the ultra-violet ray. This is for Rahu or the north node of the moon and is the coldest cosmic ray. Chrysoberyl cats-eye is a concentrated source of the infra-red cosmic ray and is for Ketu or the south node of the moon. It is the hottest of the rays. Natural gems radiate single cosmic rays only. Most other organic materials radiate a mixture of rays, with one or two being predominant.

For thousands of years, Ayurvedic doctors and Jyotishis have prescribed the use of natural precious gems in medicines or as amulets and rings. It is as a practicing Jyotishi and graduate gemologist for almost the past 40 years that I became interested in the link between these gems and the cosmic rays. We were introduced to the ground-breaking work of the late Dr. Benyotosh Battacharya of Calcutta who experimented with color wheels, gems and color depletion on cellular levels many years ago.

Dr. Battacharya noted that when two cosmic rays are disturbed, through proper health management, the body is capable of healing itself. Yet when three or more rays are disturbed and are left to remain so, the body will succumb to disease.

Recent studies have confirmed that sunlight is the key to the ‘circadian system’, our melatonin levels and cancer cells. The Sun’s light also affects those who are physically blind so our perception through the eyes has nothing to do with such absorption by the human body.

In the West the work of scientist Edwin Babbitt in 1878 on the principles of light and color was gleaned from Vedic texts. Unfortunately, followers of his beliefs were not taken seriously. Following him was Dinshaw Ghadiali who developed his own system called SPECTRO-CHROME Therapy. His son’s book documents his successes and relates his persecution for his ground-breaking work.

Russian scientists have researched the healing qualities of light, and determined that 660 nanometers was the most effective at sedating pain and stimulating healing. This technology has brought us LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes). Multiple diodes are also being used today in lamps specially created to treat pain.

Modern scientific experiments with crystals’ superconductivity have been observed, as electrons pair up below a certain temperature. Various compounds possess these superconducting properties, from pure metallic compounds to man made crystals of various alloys. The use of gem crystals has now long been known to modern science as quartz crystal is used in clocks, watches and computers, to using ruby in lasers in medicine and for other scientific applications.

Unfortunately well-funded experimentation with crystals in laboratory environments takes place mainly in the purview of military defense contractors and production of military weapons, rather than for healing. With the exception of a few notable doctors such as Dr. Shah of Bombay, a heart specialist, who is finding great success treating specific diseases using gems clinically, only a few doctors and health practitioners in Germany and the UK are developing and using light instruments for healing. Those that are using such methods are gaining impressive results in extended clinical trials, which in some cases have become a mainstay of many health care service practitioners in those countries.

In our research at the Vedic Cultural Fellowship’s clinic, we have integrated similar light instruments and the use of gems together. These specially developed electronic instruments impose specific frequencies, such as alpha, beta, delta, etc. through thick lenses within the lamps, upon the gems, intensifying the projected cosmic ray. This concentrated light is then beamed on a particular part or area of the body.

To promote healing within the body cells, organs and glands that are overstressed must have their present vibratory frequency reduced. Alternatively, when the vibratory level is too sluggish, the frequency needs to be increased. The brain’s activity, which can be read with biofeedback equipment, will show the state of health via the brainwaves vibrations. In severe anxiety-ridden states of mind, such as panic attacks, the brain’s frequency will be a high beta state, above 25 Mhz or cycles per second. Muscles will be contracted and the adrenals will be on ‘overload’. Often the eyes are seen as excessively dilated, and the body can go into shock. To counteract this, the brain’s vibrational frequency must be reduced toward an alpha state (8.5Mhz).

There are five basic brain frequencies:

High Beta (25MHz) – causes extreme anxiety

Beta (14-30MHz) – required to concentrate and cope with the daily affairs of life.

Alpha (7.8-14MHz) – the brains waves during meditation

Theta (3.2-7.8MHz) – hypnotic, trance like or dreaming

Delta (0.1-3.2MHz) – deep dreamless sleep

Gems have specific vibratory qualities that may be used to change and influence the brainwaves, but they can also be used to effect the cellular vibrations in the body, necessary for healthy functioning of all major organs and glands. The average frequency of the body during the day is between 62 and 68 cycles each second. If it drops below this rate, the immune system will start to shut down. Dr. Young and Bruce Tainio of Cheny University, noted that during their research cold symptoms appeared at 58 cycles, glandular fever at 52 and cancer at 42 cycles each second.

Natural, untreated gemstones, which are repositories of cosmic colors, can restore the pranic energy in the cellular structure, regaining the bodies ability to fight infection and disease. Blue sapphire can sedate or tranquilize; emerald can be used as an analgesic; Yellow sapphire has antiseptic qualities; and diamond may be used as a stimulant.

This therapy can be used to stimulate acupuncture points, to heal wounds or skin conditions with less scarring, to calm the mind, and to balance the doshas or bodily humors as well as to target biological energy and cohesion on a deep cellular level.

In our own work we have kept careful records of the effects on the mental and physical health of our patients while using the electronic gem lamps. The results have been astounding. The ayurvedic principles of treating kapha disease with pita or vata gems, pita disease with kapha gems, etc. has been shown to be extremely effective in most instances with patients in our clinic.

For example we have treated joint pain in patients’ knees with blue sapphire alone or sometimes with blue sapphire and emerald together. It reduced inflammation and the pain in the knees within 20 to 30 minutes. Patients with high anxiety were also made to calm down significantly within about 10 minutes by using the blue sapphire gemstone, along with a “delta” frequency of 1-2 pulses per second imposed upon it, beamed directly upon the area between the eyes. Asthma was successfully treated with diamond.

Groundbreaking results were achieved in treating a woman with “endometriosis” (a kapha disease). She was becoming severely anemic as the disease took hold. Using ruby and cats-eye together with a beta frequency of 16 pulses per second twice a week for three months, her symptoms stopped. The symptoms did return, though, after going without treatments for six months. Treatments were then resumed twice, then once, per week until the symptoms subsided, then only once a year for two years. Ten years have past and she has had no recurrence of the endometriosis, being healthy ever since. We consider this a monumental result, as modern medicine can only offer removal of the womb or a “hysterectomy” to solve this malady and still consistent results are not always achieved.

Similarly we have been able to prove the Ayurvedic contention, that certain organs and nerve centers of the body are nourished through the chakra and nadi system by particular colors through utilizing this method of beaming light through gems with an imposed frequency.

This is groundbreaking work, and much more is yet to be done, but it is not only our belief, but also that of many who work in this area of expertise, that using light waves and color spectrum vibrations for healing is the medicine of the future. It is non-invasive, has little or no side effects and if offered with dietary and lifestyle changes can often heal the patient completely and permanently. Utilizing the wearing of gems in conjunction with this clinical method can also optimize the results gained.

The ancient authors of the science of Ayurveda told of the healing potential of gemstone crystals. Perhaps they knew that thousands of years later we would come to enhance this healing modality by combining it with our modern scientific discoveries and techniques. If they did, I hope they saw in us the courage to pursue our research and make it a safe, natural form of treatment for generations to come.

Acupuncture - A Remedy for Constipation

Acupuncture is an effective remedy for treating constipation. You should have a bowel movement 2 to 3 times a day. If you are not experiencing bowel movements this frequently or have painful passage of hard stool, it may lead to bowel obstruction and disease. It is important to become regular through a safe method such as acupuncture.

Acupuncture helps restore proper circulation, eliminate pain and balance the body. In Chinese medicine, constipation is caused by a deficiency in the spleen and stomach. It is also a result in dryness of the large intestines from foods that do not support the digestive process.

Particular acupuncture points have an effect on gastrointestinal mobility, serving as a remedy for constipation. Acupuncture treatments can relax the colon, spleen and stomach to stimulate movement. In addition, herbs can be made especially for constipation, which will relax stuck qi and restore intestinal function. Qi is the layer of life force.

Acute constipation is generally resolved within two acupuncture treatments and with the use of herbal laxatives from the acupuncturist. Eating high fiber foods will help the success of your acupuncture treatment.

What is entirely beneficial about acupuncture is that in one session you can be treated for multiple symptoms. You can receive treatment for constipation, hair loss, shoulder pain and headaches all in the same day.

In addition, acupuncture is entirely safe. It has been practiced in China for more than 5,000 years. Most insurance companies now cover acupuncture treatments. It is one of the most used alternative therapies in the modern world.

Acupuncture is as Real as a Heart Attack

Acupuncture Works, But Only God Knows How

“We don’t understand the mechanisms of these so-called alternative
treatments, but that doesn’t mean they don’t work.” Dr. James Young,
of Rush University in Chicago.

1. There are 12,000 acupuncturists licensed and certified by the National
Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the U.S.
66% are not medical physicians. Your doctor hates them more than chiropractors.

This governmental agency reports more folks visited complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) practitioners, than primary care physicians.
Weird - 425 million visits to CAM and 388 million to family doctors.

2. Over a thousand back-pain suffers (1,100) took part in this Germany study headed by Dr. Heinz Endres of Ruhr University Bochum. The group was divided into those receiving acupuncture, conventional therapy (drugs, injections etc) or a placebo (sugar pills or injections of a saline solution of water).

They were trying to control severe lower back pain. The results were published in the September 24 2007 issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Endres concluded, Patients experienced not only reduced pain intensity,

but also reported improvements in the disability that often results from back

pain and therefore in their quality of life.

3. After six months 47% of the patients in the acupuncture group had significant improvement in pain complaints, compared to only 27% of the patients who
received painkillers, injections, heat or massage (conventional medical treatment). That is almost double the success rate of family physicians, right?

4. So what? It means the body may react positively to any thin needle prick to it. Other researchers raised the issue of Placebo, a catch-term meaning, we-have-no idea (in the world) why it works.

5. Some scientists believe the secret of acupuncture is creating a disruption of
the pain messages processed by the brain, by offering competing stimuli.
The insertion of the needles appear to be the competing stimuli that inhibit
the back pain signals from creating a feedback circuit. Pain gets amnesia.

Other scientists suggest the twisting of the needles (it does not hurt in the least) releases your body’s natural painkillers. Included are endorphins,
enkephalins, and endomorphins that regulate pain in body and mind.

6. Placebo: an inactive pill or injection which is a sham procedure to test the
effects of another substance or treatment. It includes the interaction between
the patient and physician and how your expectations and beliefs produce
positive bodily and mental effects.

7. Double Weird. The acupuncture needles were not inserted at the depth
(under the skin) required for successful treatment, nor placed
in the meridians sites to affect Qi (pronounced chee) to balance the body’s
energy flow. They did not follow the rules of acupuncture.

The needles were not rotated after insertion, which is the proper
protocol for a successful acupuncture treatment. And still this alternative
method produced almost twice the benefits of Western medical treatment.

Acupuncture Treats These Complaints

Acupuncture practitioners and their patients report pain relief from migraine headaches, sciatica, bursitis, arthritis, and sinus discomfort. Some claim relief from
the symptoms of prostate symptoms. It may be a Placebo but the pain is gone.

The use of acupuncture and its sister treatment, acupressure (no needles just manipulating fingers), has a recorded history beginning in China two-thousand years ago. Physicians produced charts indicating 2,000 acupuncture sites (points)
on the body, 12 main and 8 secondary neural pathways called meridians.

The meridians conduct the Qi energy to balance the electromagnetic signals required for mental and physical health. It gets better – the needles move the
tired or impaired (unbalanced) energy to correct the compatible percentage of Yin and Yang.

Yang is claimed to control the positive energy of mind and body, while Yin balances
the negative energy forces. It is allegedly based on the continuous (circulation) of
blood, oxygen and immune systems like the Natural Killer, Thymus (T cells) and Bone Marrow (B cells).

How the painless insertion of tiny needles does the trick, is presently unknown nor understood. But then again scientists who can send astronauts into space do not
know the basis or site of human consciousness in 2007. Soon.

U.S. physicians first discovered the field of acupuncture after a New York Times
article in 1971 by their ace reporter James Reston. He witnesses the use of the
acupuncture needles to ease abdominal pain after surgery while reporting in China.

A later Gallup poll in 1971 indicated 97% of American physicians disapproved of acupuncture and considered it a form of witchcraft. Another question inquired whether the doctor ever heard of or experienced this Chinese medical treatment. Would you be surprised 98.7% were unaware of the name acupuncture in 1971?

Today, the NIH (National Institute of Health) advocates acupuncture as a useful
medical procedure. It is a recommend complementary therapy for practicing U.S.
medical physicians.

In fact NIH says it reduces the side effects of some powerful drugs in addition to
reducing lower back pain. Does the medical community use it or recommend it.
Nyet.

Mu Opioid Receptors

Pain causes the release in humans of brain manufactured internal opium called opioid. An opiate is a naturally occurring synthetic narcotic resembling opium or
morphine. It binds to the opiate receptor on the surface of the neuron to inhibit
pain.

Hang on. There are three types: Mu, Kappa and Delta opioid receptors to help
humans overcome pain. They are located in the cerebral cortex, thalamus and
hypothalamus et al. in your brain. They produce an analgesic when activated, for
mental and physical pain management, so don’t bash in your 3 pound coconut yet.

And Get This

There is a connection between Placebos (I shall please you), Nocebos (I shall harm you), and hypnosis, caused by the activity of your Mu Opioid Receptor. There is Harvard research by Dr. Herbert Benson to indicate that the benefits of meditation (improving your immune systems) may be caused by the release of the brain’s opioids.

More important, there are strategies to activate your opioids through your volition
(free will). Imagine if you can relax and meditate for a few minutes daily and manage your pain. Check out meditation as a personal strategy.

Over 85% of Americans will suffer lower back pain, and assuming long life, will experience bursitis, arthritis and other temporary or permanent degenerative pain. Acupuncture is a step in the right direction to drug-free pain management.

There is research to suggest the basis of hypnosis is activating the Mu Opioid Receptors. Hypnosis, according to the AMA, is a recognized medical modality
and can alleviate pain and help the body heal rapidly.

Doctors still laugh at hypnosis, and absolutely distrust Acupuncture. You must exercise discretion and do research about who to believe, when it comes to treatment of your mind and body.

Endwords

May we suggest you exercise your parietal-frontal cortex (thinking, learning and memory) by reading 3x as much as you do, in order to add up to nine extra years of longevity and resistance to Alz. Yes, way; it is documented.

If you 3x your learning speed and 2x your long-term memory, you create a Firewall around your 3-pound coconut. Ask us how.

The Autoimmune Conspiracy

Contrary what you have been led to believe, autoimmunity is not a disease. It is a consequence of modern day life. Most important of all, it is a consequence that can be avoided. Speaking of how sick I once was from autoimmunity, I often would tell people that I was “broken – very, very broken”. In actuality, I wasn’t broken at all because autoimmunity is not truly a bodily malfunction.

To help you understand what I mean, let’s compare autoimmunity to a sunburn. When was the last time that you had a sunburn? At that time, did you consider your sunburn a terrible disease over which you had no control? Of course not! Most likely you accepted the sunburn as a natural consequence to prolonged sun exposure. Although painful, the burn was not a mysterious malady of unknown origin, but your body doing exactly what it was designed to do under those particular circumstances. I am sure you realize that the answer to not walking through life with red, irritated, or blistered skin is protecting yourself from the sun’s damaging rays. Keep your skin in a safe environment and you will avoid the pain that a sunburn brings.

Autoimmunity is a lot like a sunburn. It is also a natural consequence brought about by certain conditions in the environment. Only in this case, I am referring to the internal environment of the body and mind. The often painful result is the immune system turning against the body’s own tissue. Controlling those circumstances is more complicated than simply avoiding prolonged sun exposure, but the individual can control them. The goal is to change the internal environment and by doing so, avoid the pain caused by the immune system turning against the body.

The fact is that an autoimmune condition doesn’t just “happen” to you. It is both passively and actively created by your lifestyle and the greedy practices of food manufacturers, who lace your meals with toxins. You eat, drink, think, and expose your way to autoimmunity. With little exception, everything you put into your mouth and mind, your surroundings, and even the air you breathe is either making you healthier or sicker.

Earl Nightingale said, “Strange and marvelous things will happen with constant regularity as we alter our lives and begin to live in harmony with the laws of the universe.” Your immune system operates by certain laws. Understanding and living by these laws will allow you to take control of your own health.

Some laws involving the immune system are really simple. For instance, when you eat red meat, more of the protein responsible for the inflammation of autoimmunity is produced.
